Can Ripple roll back or block a transaction? CEO Brad Garlinghouse responds

Ripple Chief Executive Officer, Brad Garlinghouse, in a recent conference discussed concerning a variety of concerns such as future of Ripple, Madonna & Ashton Kutcher supporting XRP, whether Surge could curtail or block a purchase and even more.

In the TechCrunch Disrupt meeting in San Fransisco, Michael Arrington asked Garlinghouse if Surge can curtail a purchase. “Never.” Clearing the complication Garlinghouse reacted stating, “This is one of the fun type of misinformation points people state that like Ripple could block a transaction– not real. Can we roll back a deal? Not true.”

Arrington further goes on to ask if it indicates that they could however they won’t. To which, Garlington once again guarantees that they really can’t.

In the conference, interviewer, Mike Butcher stated, “… apparently libertarians to this day, rail against Ripple as well as XRP and any individual that deal with them, including Arrington XRP. So Brad, several of these libertarians, some of them, actually, literally, called you the adversary, Lucifer.”

To which, Garlinghouse responds saying he’s not and aims to prove the factor after Arrington provokes him to. He claimed, “If you intend to change the means payments work, if you really want to revolutionize the means deals work in this regard, it’s not going to occur by everyone quiting their existing framework and simply switching over to something new as high as I am really a dish on Bitcoin (BTC). The Bitcoin blockchain is not going to be one journal to rule them all.”

While going over about Bitcoin blockchain and XRP Journal, Brad Garlinghouse said, “… miners control 50% of the [Bitcoin blockchain], by any type of measure, the XRP Ledger is extra decentralized than the Bitcoin blockchain.”
