SEC rejects Bitcoin ETF proposal, BTC goes below $8,000

U.S. Securities and Exchange Payment (SEC) revealed that it has rejected the proposition of Bitcoin ETF that was submitted by the Winklevoss Twins, post statement. The rate of Bitcoin dipped listed below the $8,000 mark, CCN reported.

The application was supposedly evaluated by the SEC for the 2nd time after Gemini founders Cameron as well as Tyler Winklevoss appealed. In fact, for the second review, SEC started a round of public comment. Previously, on March 10, 2017 the first application was declined.
